our roots: Budo taijutsu
This video gives you a brief description and history of the art form Budo Taijutsu.
Rooted in the 900-year-old traditions of the samurai and ninja, Budo Taijutsu provides the foundation of our practice.
A big thank you to Sensei Jeff Christian of Muzosa Budo Taijutsu of NYC for allowing us to share his video.
refined for modern applications
While we honor its lineage and preserve its core principles, our training has been carefully adapted for modern use.
Techniques are refined to meet the needs of today’s world—whether that’s law enforcement, executive protection, or everyday self-defense—focusing on practical movement, real-world scenarios, and effective responses to contemporary threats.
This balance of tradition and adaptation allows students to train in an art that is both historically rich and immediately applicable.
